Default How Do You Install phpBB Mods/Hacks?

I am trying to install some phpBB mods and hacks. phpbbhacks.com says to refer to the .txt file included in the hack... well in the two I downloaded there was no .txt file just a .mod. I went on over to phpBB but it's offline right now... Can anybody help me?

here is the mod

I downloaded the mod to check. You need to open the .mod file in a text editor and follow the instructions ... it says you will have to edit four files. Just read it, and if you still need help let me know =)

If you are reading this page our main site is currently offline for maintenance, sorry about that. We expect to be back online within 24 to 48 hours. Till then you may continue to download phpBB, localisations and convertors via our project page on sourceforge:

http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/phpbb/

Our phpBB 3.0 development board remains operational at:

http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/

So why not use this opportunity to see the future of phpBB.

For urgent support issues our IRC channel, #phpbb is still available on irc.freenode.org (or irc.freenode.net).

Thanks, phpBB Group
