Default Hey guys Would any one be nice enough to offer some help?

Hey guys I'm new on this forum. I have a passion for somputers but... I'm kind of new I mean I know how to do a bit of stuff but not much useful. I was wondering if there would be any one out there able to point a finger and show me some places where I could learn more. I would like to understand how software comunicates etc. in hope of eventually learning a programming language^^ Anyway thanks.

I think this is related to your question.

If you want to learn a programming language by yourself, a book is your absolute best bet. But it must be a good book. There are trash books out there. Otherwise, take a class. It may be **** expensive, but you can't beat what you learn.

After reading that book/class, you mess around and the such. Surely you will still have remaining questions that your book didn't address. Then you come here or to another programming forum and get your questions answered.

I started with a PHP book and it is **** amazing. The image in my sig was formated in PHP. It generates random colors and adds live text to it.
