| Re: help its going good, i have wrote a few scripts for practise, all have worked for me. but i don't really get the point of writing them, why do i want the command prompt to tell me some numbers or words. when will i get to the point where the scripts write programs that do things?

| Re: help GUI stands for Graphical User Interface
windows xp is a GUI system. and you will learn how to make those in Java/Javascript and then you can run the python in the java script or adapt the python to be java.
but IMO start with Python go to Perl>C>C++>C#>Java
