hi, i am looking to make a forum. however i need a place i can try for free!
i try a IBforFree but that wasnt to good of a help for me.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Do a Google search for PHPBB, that software is pretty good.

it doesnt take very long at all to set up a PHPBB forum. I like em too.

Yeah, you basically just upload it and fill in a few options and it works.

Does it have to run on a hosted site? Like bravenet.com? Or can it run on like.........Geocities.

it wouldn't work on Geocities because their server is not php enabled.... there are some free webhosts/servers that are php enabled or if you have a fair enough connection, run it from your home computer, using Apache2 and PHP 4.3

If you want phpbb, though, you can go to www.dk3.com. It's very easy and they have it premade for you.
