hey quick question. i know that a lot of flash is created in Flash such as Macromedia's Flash, but are all the animations created with it or is there a program that people use such as some kind of animator to do at least some of the animation or what?

there's lots of plugins for flash. if you are talking about some of the trippy 3D effects people do that by using their 3D modeling/ animation apps like 3DSM, lightwave, ect and use a plugin like swish to export the rendered animations into flash. anything that looks impossible in flash is probably exported from another application. most graphics are done with an image editor like photoshop and brought into flash. another flash editor is adobe golive.

for text animation, you can use swish. it's more easier to make text animation with swish, because there's alot of instan text animation included in swish

but i am a beginner,so hope someone can give me some ideas about that.
