Default File Converters

Are there any file converters out there that will convert .jpg to .gif or .wma to MP3? Becuase My computer reads audio cds differently than others. When you put in a cd like Metallica, isnt it supposed to be .wav? My comp is .cda Whats up wit dat?

I all depends on what media player you are using also, personally i use winamp which will play .mp3 / .wav etc etc.

What player are you using Cher as all the ones i've used - Windows Media Player / WinAmp / Music Match Jukebox all support .wav ...?

Im using synapse media player

are you trying to save the songs to the hard drive? because if you open up my computer and look at the cd, itll say they are cda files. most players will play the songs off the cd. but if you want them on your hard drive, you need a wav/mp3 ripper. im not sure if windows media player rips songs to those formats, but do a search on google for mp3 rippers. try musicmatch if you dont find a different one

Get CD-X, it is a great program for 'backing up' yur music. and converting it to MP3s from WAV files.

i think you can open a picture in pint and then save it with the extension you want, or just change the extension. i think it will work among bmp, jpg and gif's.

Yeah, I think almost any graphics program will let you convert an image file. Photoshop and PSP give you more settings, but Paint does the job.
