Dr Nick

Default Fan Speed controler

Hi Everybody,
I am having a hard time finding a good software speed controller online (yes, I've tried Speedfan) so I've decided to make one myself. The actual logic shouldn't be very hard it's how i am to get the temp sensor readings and control the CPU fan PWM. If anybody knows how i can do this or where to go to find out, that would be greatly appreciated!
-Thanks

i know its not what you asked but a hardware fan controller is much better and more accurate then software ones can be. just thought i would throw that out there.

well, my fan did come with a manual controller for the outside of the case but i want something automatic. Preferably, I'd also like to be able to read the CPU load to anticipate a temperature increase. But, whatever i can get I'll work with.
