ok, i read through other topics, but couldn't find what i was looking for. I wanted to make a form that you can hit submit, and it will send it to me. The only thing i can get it to do is open something like outlook and have the person who filled out the form enter their email address, etc. and send it from there. I'm trying to get it to just send the information to my email account after hitting submit, but cant find what im exactly looking for. tried w3schools.com , should be there, but i cant find it. thanks.

You have numerous options...this can be done in CGI...or other programming languages such as PHP, ASP....

I would personally reccomend PHP.

Yeah...I have one as well for PHP, and a friend has ASP (Ew)...but PHP is very nice/easy to do it with...just post it to a page, and send away! Then again, you need a PHP-enabled web server.

yea, i've built a couple php mail forms....

the one that i curently have on my site posts to a my sql database so it's not hogging my inbox and i've built other ones for frineds of mine (some on this fourm ) that just send real emails to the person
