Default Download popup

I've got a redirection link to this file, and I want it so it redirects the person to this file and the box pops up prompting you to open or save as. Do you know what I mean? It's on almost every site you download something from, I don't want the user to have to right click save as. How do you do this?

Just link directly to the file like

http:///www.mysite.com/myzip.zip

And that it will pop-up just like you want!

yeah but this is a .mov file and it tries to load it up in the browser. Is that client side, or can I actually do something about that?
