Question Download of C Compiler

Hai everyone,
I want to install a C compiler into my computer. Already I am having Turbo C compiler. But its not effective, its not supporting many functions, even Edit menu is not working and Help features are not useful. Can anyone tell me the best free C compiler which supports most functions and good Help features and where I will get it?? Mail me to "giri4victory@yahoo.co.in"

Pelles C

Pelles C for Windows is a complete development kit for Windows and Pocket PC. It contains among other things an optimizing C compiler, a linker, a resource compiler, a message compiler, a make utility and install builders for both Windows and Pocket PC.

It also contains an integrated development environment (IDE) with project management, debugger, source code editor and resource editors for dialogs, menus, string tables, accelerator tables, bitmaps, icons, cursors, animated cursors, animation videos (AVI's without sound), versions and XP manifests.

GCC is probably the most commonly used C compiler. It comes with Dev-C++, well an adapted version anyway. Dev-c++ is not a compiler though it is an IDE that happens to ship with a compiler
