I'm doing Java as a part of the course I am currently studying. I find it pretty good.
btw, is it just me or is Java remarkably similar to areas of/the same as Flash Actionscript?

I am at the end of my first semester of Java. As this being the first programming course I've taken, I find Java very difficult.

I like programming though, like I said I'm new to it, but I like being able to program.

My final exam is this coming friday so I need to study some. Any suggestions for a place where I can go over all the basic stuff?

Are you in HS or College?

If HS, you can just try to read the AP review books, they're good.

If you're in college, try the same, you can VERY quickly skim that. Or try going to the libary, but honestly, you can't really 'skim' Java. It's either you know it by now, or you don't.

It might help. It could be too easy, though.

I found a website of a CS professor @ my university. The topics might differ, but here are some review guides: http://bingweb.binghamton.edu/~rosew.../LectureNotes/

Click on the different weeks, then click on the .html file. It should work.

Also, try these: http://www.horstmann.com/bigj2/slides/slides.html

Those notes are pretty good, I heard the book itself (Big Java) is pretty awesome.
