detecting a keystroke?

so considering i know nothing about programming, could this be done in vbscript?
would it be like pages of typing or is it simple

You're going to need to use a full programming language (one of the C's, Java, etc...) that can hook into the stdin stream. __________________ <br> Its a frigging Laptop, not a Labtop!!!!

What is vbscript? I know standard Visual Basic can detect keystrokes no problem...
