Default Connecting to Web using VB.Net

Hi...Anyone who reads this

i am working on a school project where i need to write a program usin VB.NET, that downloads financial statements from a website. I would like to use a the ticker symbol that is used on NYSE as the expression that searches the website. We have already loaded the ticker symbols into an array, and we want to be able to parse the financials and retrieve a few numbers. What i have no idea how to is: access the web and find the documents...

please help?
