Default Command Prompt "net send"

I'm trying to send people messages through the network....

of course it doesn't work and I get error messages....

I am absolutely positive I have the right ip address and they are on the same work group as I am...

What else do I have to change?

Default Re: Command Prompt "net send"

messenger service has to be running as well.

xp sp2 & later turn this service off by default.

spammers like to deliver messages using this service.
