Question "Bug Tracker" Program Recommendations??

I am an IT guy for a development company who has about 4 developers (more soon). I am looking for some good “bug tracker” software so that every project/module can be documented and the information can be shared by all incase one of my developers gets a higher priority task assigned to them another developer can pick up where he left off and not have to spend a day figuring out what the previous developer worked on. We do a lot of Java if that helps.

Since I am not a big programmer, I want to know what you guys think is the best thing to try to use and implement. What has worked for you and what hasnÂ’t?

Thanks in advanced!

Our company uses Rational ClearQuest. Pretty powerful.

What do you know.. Just did a search, and it's made by IBM. OH well.. I just use it. Never really bothered to check who "made" it.
