I have an idea for a personal application (e.g. like MS Money, but more time/calendar management than $$$.) I don't need to develop for web use or enterprise use.

I have a medium level programming background. I have worked "lightly" with Basic, Java, and HTML

What would be the best RAD tool to use to get my application up and running fast. Nothing fancy - input data and see reports. I do need ability to automatically populate a calender. Want to have GUI that I can "fine tune" later.
