can anyone tell me where or how to start just using internet resources please?

If you are limiting your instructional material to "internet resources" only, then head to Google. Otherwise, a better approach is to buy some good books. What, specifically, are you wanting to learn?

First learn programming logic and algorithms, later choose a programming language. I suggest Java language.
as the dario said, research in the google.

hmmm... i also i think my dad bought them.. they are Microsoft Visual C++6.0... visualFoxPro,VisualBasic,Visual J++ and Visual InterDEv, are these books good and what can i learn from them?

They are a bit dated, but if you had to choose from that list, go with Visual C++ 6.0.
