Default Application down

Application down, exception occurred while initialising application. Assigning instance of class java.lang. Class to field nz.co.acc.infrastructure.sentinel.argument#type. The application will now terminate.

The need to close the application and then reopen it, this seems to be the workaround. However I have 10 users using the application. the error occurs at least once every two weeks either in the morning or later afternoon. This is ongoing, is there any possible reasons behind this or is there any in depth questions i can put forward to narrow down the cause?
