Unhappy Anyone know of a 'This Day in History' script ?

I have spent over five hours surfing for a 'this day in history' script but, surprisingly, have only managed to find one ("Puppet Master's Today In History"). It's not very good however. You can see a sample output on a site (not mine) here.

I'm looking for something more sophisticated, with the following features:

- ability to jump to any date of the year
- individual pages for each day, with unique meta-tags, so that can get each page listed in search engines

Have seen various newspaper sites with fantastic use of 'today in history', but can't find a script for it.

Anyone know where I could find one?

If not, will just have to hand-code all 365 days using HTML template.

Cheers

Making the script would be very easy finding all the events would be hard. :/

EDIT: I'll make you the script if you find the events.
