| What if temps start to rise? What can you do if temps start to rise on items such as the hard drive and onboard video? What does it mean if they start to rise? This would be on a prebuilt machine if that makes a difference.

| Re: What if temps start to rise? It means that your coooling is not sufficient and you can downclock any chipsets or cpu which overheating and with hdd's you move them around to an area of better airflow.

| Re: What if temps start to rise? A case that disspenses heat well, good airlow, good cable managment, and keeping canned air handy to blow out the dust. That's how you fight heat. Historically, every couple of weeks I blow out my case with canned air to prevent any dust build up. But depending on the room your comps in and where, it may build up dust faster or slower.

| Re: What if temps start to rise? Everything will rise in temp no matter what cooling method you use, even on dice or ln2, it will rise, a small increase, doesn't hurt, but a huge one will. |

Whatever you do, I wouldn't do that to lower your temps. |

| Re: What if temps start to rise? Yeah its up there with the person who cut off the end of his graphics card with scissors as it wouldn't fit in his case and there was a dotted line which looked similar to a "cut here" line.
