Well. Do you want clear tubing? and you're gonna want 1/2" ID and OD depends on how kink resistant you want it.

So.. OD = outer diameter... and the thicker the OD the more kink resistance? "thickness of the inner tubing"

and ID = inner diameter... so I need a 1/2 ID for a 1/2 barb...

That's how I think this goes now..

I went with: PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Red Tubing

But i wanted red... you can get it in different colors.. from what I researched it is some of the most flexible tubing...

Thanx for tha replies..

As far as needing 1/2" tubing for a 1/2" barb.. i was thinking that the tubing and barb both being 1/2" would mean tha tube would fit too loose.. i guess not though comsidering it is a "barb" meaning it is at one point over 1/2"...

I got tha tube.. and Petras is out of a whole lot of stuff.. I couldn't buy from them.. but I did find a cheaper dealer.

you could've chosen 7/16 ID for a tighter fit

Eh. Not a fan of that. 1/2" tubing on 1/2" barbs with some decent clamps is as good as it gets.

Aside from that, everything that could be said has been said.
