| video card overclocking, I have a question I have just been getting into overclocking (still new 2 me) and I was overclocking my video card and once I get past a certain point I get black flashes usually look like little lines. They can flash anywhere in the game from on the wall or the sky or the guy or where ever. I still get good frame rate and smooth game play while this is goin on, but I want to get rid of the black flashing line things lol is there any way I could or do I need to just back off the OCing until they go away again. thanks

| Re: video card overclocking, I have a question You need to back down a little on the overclock, until those lines disappear. |

| Re: video card overclocking, I have a question You are artifacting....result of too high of an overclock. Like B1gapl said just back down a bit on the clock speeds until you are where you like it.

| Re: video card overclocking, I have a question Yes it can, but also playing a game can check for artifacts, as well. |
