Does it sound similar to the high squeaky pitch an old television makes while on? Because if so, then maybe what you are hearing is caused my such high levels of electricity flowing through the card. That's all I can think of.

I know there have been stories of the GT cards having a high pitch whine from the inductors, but i havent heard of any issues with the GTX. Might look it up and see if the GTX cards have the same issue.

i cant exactly think of how those would sound like...
got a clip somewhere for an example?

and nosboost, i got bored of crysis.
Its unrealistic, both in graphics and gameplay...sure the graphics look pretty, but cod4 looks better and the kills are waay more realistic.
but that my opinion, so yeh...

yes it does, its just if they have the shield enabled it doesnt insta-gib their face

No, sorry I don't, but if I remember correctly it might be similar to that one ring tone you can get, that is so high pitched that only kids can hear it? I'm not sure.
