Default Quick Ram Question

I was just looking around at stuff with CPU-Z and noticed it said my ram was at 400mhz.

Is this normal? Or is my RAM running ridiculously slow?

double data rate synchronous dynamic random access memory

the memory clock runs at half the external data bus clock rate

so your ram is running at 400mhz but it's really at 800mhz.

timings are pretty standard for 800mhz ram. You might be able to tweak it a little more and get better timings, but it won't do much good unless you're going for benchmarks.

dont know the brand of your ram but you should be able to clock the timings to 4-4-4-12 on 2t pretty easy. if its gskill you could o/c it to 1000mhz and still push the 4-4-4-12 timings.
