| Ultra Techie | For Liquid Cooling, no you do not need thermal grease. I used to have a Fanless Zalman. And it said not to use it. Correct me if I'm wrong but for mine it was NO!

| Wizard Techie | well, if they're both made of metal, I see no reason not to. The heat spreaders are no doubt imperfect in thier smoothness, so thermal grease would seem almost like a 'duh' to me, but that's what I'd go assuming without knowing the RIGHT answer. Ryan
