Default question about what to worry about cpu temp or core temp?

my Oc is stable core temps max at 62C but cpu doesn't go over I want to say 45C... so when ppl say my load temp is ___ are they talking about core or CPU?

Core temp. This is most important as the transistor wells begin to do funny things at very high temperatures such as introducing a larger depletion widths. Get a program called Core Temp and it will monitor the temperature of all the cores in your system.
