| hey guys i know this has been asked loads of times now but i have a Q6600 with a gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R mobo with 4gb of ocz ram (spec's in sig) now i'm getting someone to build it for me and i'm getting it tomorrow, on monday morning i'm planning a slight OCing on it then setting prime95 while i go to work i just really need some hints and tips on how to do this, i'm looking at a 3.2 - 3.4 oc for now (for day to day use) and possible 3.6 - 3.8 for a few benchmarks

| You're right, this is ask 10 times this week. Take 2 hrs, read all the threads, then ask speccific questions IF you need it. Your board and setup is identical to about half the threads, so its all there.. But, I would not OC your system past 3.0Ghz...... You'll burn it.

| i've got mod mania madnes | he should be able to hit 3.2 without voltage changes...

| he should be able to go past 3.0 with little to no probs... even though all cpus clock differently, with a good cooler should be able to do 3.2 or 3.4 with no problems. i can run mine at 3.8 with no problems all day but I also have water cooling. Im not familiar with ure board though
