You should be able to play Half Life 2 just fine on medium settings.

But i would rather get this motherboard

6600GT is at a very good price. DFI has some very nice mobos.

whats the b iggest difference between dfi and gigabyte??? i need to spend as little as posisble.. but still have a decent computer
