 |  The Official NosBoost300 Overclocking Thread alright.. so imma keep all my shtuff in one thread from now on Tonite my test bed will be EVGA 680i A1 (pencil modded) intel core 2 quad q6700 g0 EVGA 8800GTX 2gb Crucial Ballistix Tracers Tuniq Tower 120 w/ Scythe 110cfm Fan 40 inch samsung lcd tv game tests will be ran @ 1920x1200 Tests i will be doing Super Pi 1m 3dmark06 possibly 3dmark05 cs:s stress test (if it installs fast enough and not only that.. i will also just try to go for highest bootable clock i'll be home in about 1 hour.... so keep ur eyes peeled, its been a while since i've done this and yessss, there will be pictures everything will be run on a clean installation of Windows XP Pro the drivers i'm using will be listed the minute i find out which drivers i have

| Re: The Official NosBoost300 Overclocking Thread well.. things didnt work out the way they shoulda.. crap didnt wanna work in my case.. found i had a screw riding the back of the motherboard so it was randomly shorting.. luckily no damage anyway, its just sitting on my desk... i did a light oc today.. cranked the fsb to 1605 or something like that (4.0X ghz) and ran super pi w/ my ballistix at ddr 800 4-4-4-15 1t  thats what i got.. almost my old super pi score which was at 4.18ghz.. and this is at .10+ less ghz!!! i got room to improve.. and about another 200 more mhz to crank up the ram.. and also a nice clean install of xp (which i'm not using yet) and i'll hopefully hit 11's Page Ranking even low 12's will make me happy i left my gtx at work.. so i couldnt get around to 3dmark06  my goal super pi-able is 4.2 ghz .. gona require a crapload of cpu voltage vid is 2.875... not too bad... well pretty bad in my book.. lol and on top of that.. its about 80-90 degree's F in my room all the time... so its not exactly overclocking season for me...
