krazyq, you can find your VID in CoreTemp, right below where it says platform and right above where the temps are listed.

well core temp doesnt work on vista 64 bit.
I got it to work once, but now i keep getting this pop up message error...it keeps poping up simultaneously ...i have to get into the task manager to exit it.
Whats VID anyways?

I'm not sure actually lol, it's an acronym though so I've always though it meant voltage identifier or identification but I honestly don't know what it does.

VID Is different for each processor. It is the minimum reccomended voltage for the chip when running at stock speeds.

well 64 bit has a problem with signing drivers or something like that and wont allow core temp, ati too, peer guardian...etc to work.

Theres a waay around where you have to disable it on startup, but i hate doing it all the time...i wish there was way to jus to it once and have it stay that way.
