Default ** Official ATI RV700 and RV770 Thread **

Doing some clocking so wanted to make a thread. Only a few of us here have RV770s so far but I'm sure more will join the club

Here are my results so far...pretty sure this is faster than the GTX 280

Of course its faster, in some game/situations, but to us that do not have the step up option it costs too much.

Sure, Ill take a GTX280 if youd like to throw 650 my way.

Edit: Instead of using the benchmark, play crysis with the devmode display on so you can record actual FPS in live game.

There will come a day, such a day when all will be told more than they wish to know, what one hears may explain the past, it may explain the future, but it has never made a difference either way and it will change nothing. Some day.... But that is not this day, and I don't know when, I just don't know.

Wow... 920mhz on the Core, 1200 on the Memory is still quite impressive

The crysis benchmark is good because it's extremely consistent so makes for good comparisons. Running the benchmark 2 or 3 times will give you pretty much the exact same result every time to .05fps

Crysis benchmark does not translate into exact game performance.

Play the game, show us your FPS..

i don't play the game. I think it sucks lol

I just use it as a benchmark because it makes very good comparisons.

Bah, benchmarks never exactly show actual FPS in real game.

I think you are missing my point. i don't play the game. I use it as a comparison to complement 3dmark scores and such.

Anyway, a little update.

950/1200 same voltage. this card is sex
