Default Is the OCZ Gladiator 3 good for overclocking?

Is the OCZ Gladiator 3 good for overclocking? would it be better with the smart fan II? Here is a link for the specs on it.
I have the model with the led fan, the clear one.
My temps according to the HW monitor are aroung 40 c

The hardware monitor from soyo shows the fan speed at -/+ 5000 RPM.
