Man that's incredible stuff. They are basically saying that DDR1 still has a good life span. So perhaps the jump to DDR2 has been quite premature?

Well i think DDR2 is redicoulus righ tnow and im not even gonna comment on DDR3. I think that technology is at a standstill.

thats why AMD still hasnt gone over to DDR2. Amd sees potential in technologies that Intel throws away.

Yeah plus the article that 4W4K3 posted in another thread regarding the AMD64 OC'ing was saying OC'ing an Intel is boring, whereas AMD can takes weeks to perfect your systems OC

we cant even use DDR2 to its full potential and they are already coming out w/ a new design? Thats just stupid.

good lord, $3900 for a sample unit of that stuff.
But yeah it's ridiculous. the whole point of that OCZ OC is to prove that DDR1 still has room to be pushed further.
