| Northbridge and Southbridge cooler necessary when ocing. When overclocking to around 3Ghz on a E6300 with a DS3R mobo, will it be necessary to buy a northbridge/southbridge cooler ? if so , which ones are good ? |

| Re: Northbridge and Southbridge cooler necessary when ocing. No i dont think so. My temps never go about 38C.
Also, the motherboard comes with a huge heatsink for the northbridge (i think its the northbridge...).

| Re: Northbridge and Southbridge cooler necessary when ocing. You would only need an aftermarket cooling for the NB or SB, if you were going extreme I guess. Or if for some reason, it is above normal in temperature. |

| Re: Northbridge and Southbridge cooler necessary when ocing. My south, doesn't have a heatsink on it, and I was able to overclock to 3.2-3.6....just keep your overall system cool, and you'll be fine. |
