Hey guys,

So tomorrow I'm buying me one of the Asus Silent Knight CPU coolers. Wanting to OC my E6600 up to like 3.6 or 4 even if possible.

I have a P5B mobo =_= I know, not top of the line, but ****, it works. That and 2Gb of A-DATA DDR2 PC6400 ram @ 800mhz.

Now keeping in mind, i have literally NO idea what to do, is there a tutorial that i can follow or something for this? I have no idea what all that 2:1 1:1 etc means, haha, sorry if this is too bigger of an ask, but I really wanna overclock this and I want to know what I'm doing / have an idea what to look out for etc. Dont wanna void my CPU up hardcore, or my ram. Also heard somethign about overclocking ram alongside with the CPU?

Will I need cooling for my ram then? or dont i need to overclock it? or what, haha

just looking @ everest... seen something werid.
CPU Clock: 1601.3Mhz (original : 2400Mhz)
CPU Multiplier: 6.0x
etc etc
DRAM:FSB Ratio: 12:8

Now I built this myself, so no one else set it up, so why is my CPU clock lower than it should be... well, it is my multiplier i think... should that me @ 9.0x?
