Default NB and SB voltage?

Can someone dumb down the benefits of raising these voltages for me? will it result in a more stable OC or what? Of heard yes and no and I heard it can be bad too...

Default Re: NB and SB voltage?

It's only bad, if you overvolt. Which is around 1.55 and up. The benefit of having to increase the voltage, is to stabilize the overclock, only if it's unstable.

you wont need to increase south brige voltage at all, it has nothing to do with your oc.
