| sounds like a dodgy idea because it WILL cool DOWN and set, unless it is mercury and thats poisonous i think. Liquid Nitogeon is a good idea, Dry Ice is a good idea but liquid metal cooling is a bad idea this is another reason why i dont like ATI, they put liquid metal cooling in there cards. Nano Coolers also use liquid metal coolers http://www.techpowerup.com/?3105

| no it is a metal based polymer that I posted on it a while back it is supposed to be better than water cooling because it is more dense and has a boiling point of around 2000°C here is the company website http://nanocoolers.com/technology_liquid.php

| Wizard Techie | There is all kinds of issues regarding liquid metal cooling, and there have also been numerous posts on it already, one done by me. Here is on by nubius: http://tech-forums.net/showthread.ph...+metal+cooling WhoareU: http://tech-forums.net/showthread.ph...+metal+cooling Another Nubius one: http://tech-forums.net/showthread.ph...+metal+cooling A simple search would have yeiled many results with the answers. I dont think it is mass marketed yet, I know of someone who contact nanocoolers and they got a prototype model to test I believe. |
