A lot of people ***** that 3dmark06 is just a cpu benchmark sometimes. I kind of agree.

It definitely is. I scored 5000 just ocing the cpu alone to 3.6 granted that it was bottlenecking my card @ stock speeds. If I had a q9650 I'd have the number one spot for sure. I've been pretty lazy though so I haven't really gone for the 4.0-4.1 run yet.
