| Ultra Techie | first of all does anyone here even have one. i was looking on xtremesystems forums and people have been getting them up to 6ghz so scince conroe cores will be on s775 mobos i might buy an intel CPU and a 775 mobo to prepare for conroe but that's a diferent thread. i want to know if anyone on these forums has a cedar mill or presler core with the 65nm processing and what it's clocked at? and does anyone here know a really good, cheap s775 cooler in case i do go with the s775 mobo and CPU? |

| Well first off, don't assume a current 775 board is going to work with Conroe. Some 975 boards might, but only new ones. Check for Rev C boards with the new VRM to support Conroe and it may work. Sorry, no Cedar Mill or Presler here, so can't help you. But as I am sure you saw at XS they are clocking very well.
