Default installing case fans

i plugged in the red/black wires into the psu but still have yellow wires with female 3pin connectors to hook up

are they for controllers?

thats the speed detector on the fan. the yellow wire usually plugs into the mobo. what kind of fan is it. if you can take a picture it would help alot

Effex, what kind of case do you have along with the fans? Another thing, where are you installing those fans in your case?

i have the tsunami case with the 3 120m fans

i put all 3 fans on 1 cord from the psu and put the hd and dvd on their own as well

So you combined the wires foruming a single one. Then connecting it striaght to the source?

i hooked the big 4pin red/black wires to one psu line. these were labeled power

i dont know where to plug the small 3pin yellow wires into though

If you combine those fans togather, your going to end up lossing RPM. I suggest a fan controler. They work alot better.

alright, ill use the controller that was sent with it. but i still dont know where to plug in the two yellow wires which measure fan speed?
