I want to overclock to 7.4 mhz! Help Needed!

so i need to worry now when i build my new rig if i get a good CPU that can overclock

does this go for all the pc hardware like GPU, RAM, MOBO, ect..

Ram and mobo you can get little small defects in them every now and then like the 7200.11 Seagate drives used to have a Firmware issue but not anymore they fixed that. as far as ram and Mobo go they jsut cant be pushed as much as some. they should all clock the same but you might get one thats a little "special ed".


I personally wouldnt worry. if you get one thats a little "special" and you really wana you can RMA it if im not misstaken OCing doesnt void your warranty. but it might... not sure on that one dont quote me on it.

usually the lower the vid you have the better your cpu will oc. Check it w/ core temp.
