Please do not make a flame war out of this thread. I don't think there is a need to get a mod involved. Let mgcook do his thing and you can judge it for yourself once it's done. (if he decides to post it) I for one would like to see the finished product.

I really would like you to consider going 25 inches long. Because you would really benefit from it when it comes to room to work.

I think if I were to build the case out of wood I would use High density particle board. That is what we have always used for our speaker enclosures and it has a great finish. The only problem I could see would be the weight.

i really dont need 25" long...because

the drive bays will not be on the same side as the motherboard...

the power supply, drive bays, and hard drives will be on the right side. while the pa120.3 and the mother board will be on the other.

so there is plenty of room with a 20x20x20
