I have dropped the 3.4 Ghz PRESCOTT Temp from 51 to 37

I am 16 years old and I built my first pc when I was 15. I have a intel pentium 4 3.4 Ghz prescott processor. Recently I replaced my stock cpu heatsink with the Zalman 7700 Cu. I experienced a dramatic temp decrease from 51c to 37c. My pc is in the hottest room in the house with no air conditioning.

thats why you get an aftermarket heatsink for cooler temps or more headroom to overclock.

i did that too...add some AS5 and it will be even better!.....btw i got my 3.0 preschot @ 3.96ghz, i run 46 idle and 58 load

too bad i didnt get a prescott, i got a athlon venice core, running at 28C idle and 35-40C on full load, on stock heatsink and fan

EDIT: oh btw i just build this computer and im 13.
