| Ultra Techie | I guess I just cant think of a better way to ask that question. Im useing the free version (basic edition), and here are my scores- X2 @ 2.5 GHZ 7800GT @ stock 3D Mark 06= 4,117 ------------------------------------------------- X2 @ 2.5 GHZ 7800GT @ 495/1.16 3D Mark 06= 4,503 ----------------------------------------------------- X2 @ 2.5 GHZ 7800GT @ 502/1.18 3D Mark 06- 4,640 I mean, w/ an increase of 57 MHZ over stock for the core clock and from 1.07 to 1.18, i inscreased my 06 score by 523 3D marks. I guess I Just found this really interesting. I mean that just seems like a large jump for such a small change in frequencies.

| Those are very good scores for a 7800GT. If you look at the clock speeds of a GPU, you can see that they are only a fraction of what a CPU's speed is, so a "smaller" jump in the core speed will have more of an effect than the same jump with a CPU. |

| Lord Techie | Yes, 3dmark is very GPU dependent, so if you overclock your GPU, your score will go up ![]()
