How To OverClock PNY Nvidida GeForce 9600GT???

Hello, I have never O.C.'d my GPU before, and I need help with how to, and how much to O.C. my GPU, it has 512MB DDR3 Memory. But I am scared I'll O.C. it too much, and it'll overheat. Thanks For Any Help!

use riva tuner. it is very easy to use and use it to control the fan speed.

I use riva-tuner to OC, ati-tool to monitor for artifacts and nvidia monitor for temps.

But that's just me.

Oops, realized you were asing how, not what program. here is an article on OCing vid cards and has basic guide on using rivatuner as well.

Ok, Thanks Bros! Lol, Sorry for my noobness (Is that a word by the way?) lol, but I downloaded it, and my gpu mhz was at 400, and it has about a inch of blue on the line, is that how much more I can O.C. it?

Standard core clock for the 9600GT is 650 bro.

Lots of people are pushing them past 700.

yes...but with stock cooling....it gets pretty warm...very warm....

Cooler than 8800GT though.

I love the cooling on my card...700 core @ 55C.
