Default How to find max voltage cpu can handle

Is there a way to find your max cpu voltage? besides the obvious way...i want to know so i can overclock. right now i got 2.8 at 1.4v idle 20C load 57C. i'm setting to 3Ghz at 1.45&7, it'll open windows but itll crash on the stress test. you guys think over 1.5v is too much for my cpu to handle, or do i just find my max according to my temp readings.
