Heatsink or Heatpipe?

Im in need of a new heatsink for my computers CPU. Sempron 2500+ which I plan to eventualy overclock. I was looking through and comparing a bunch of different cooling products. I know that liquid cooling would possibly be the best option. I just dont have the money for it. What I would like to know. What has higher efficiency, a solid copper 70 or so fin heatsink or a heatpipe rig?

Lol, great sig. I went away form my pc after clicking the link and thought something went wrong.

A heatsink with the heatpipes that is all copper would provide the best air cooling.

I just wanted to know because a good heatsink is about the same price as a heatpipe rig.

There is also the Thermaltake Typhoon its $20 cheaper.

Something that is better than both of those is this put out by Thermaltake. Oh yea its only 52$ and you can mount 2 120mm fans on it.

Look at mine more closely it DOES have heatpipes. Also it can mount 2 120 mm fans which are better.

i always thought those were really heavy and they put a lot of strain on ur mobo

the typhoon is a favourite of mine. the surface area of the provided backplate spreads the force from the HSF quite effectively so it doesn't really damage the board unless the pc is moved and stopped rapidly (in which case its probably the least of your worries anyway).
