Halo doesn't work Is it cause of OC?

I just installed Halo on my comp and when I go to play it freezes at the loading screen. It works on my other comp with no problems. I even tried patching and updating it, also I got the newest DirectX 9.0c and no luck. Then I tried re-installing it and still nothing. Is it not working because I oced my cpu or vidcard?

it could be that you overclocked your video card a little bit too much

musjunk what was halo running on before.. OS wise.. and now what is it running on.. if you went from ME to XP it's likely that the game won't work.. same as 98 to xp certain games just don't work

Easiest way to find out is to throw your hardware back to stock speeds.

I got it working. I just reinstalled the 4.8 Catalyst drivers and it worked. I had it working on my other system (XP) then I tried putting it on my other ME system but it doesnt work.But even with the new drivers if I put the core/mem on my vidcard too high it doesn't work.
