| My specs are high enough to handle both, I just want to know which would be a better choice for me to buy. Sapphire Radeon X850XT http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16814102505 EVGA Geforce 6800GS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130265 The Sapphire card has higher specs but I don't think they have lifetime warranties on their cards. The EVGA card has lower specs but has a lifetime warranty. I don't know what to get. |

| Your links are broken. Anyway, I think I would probably go with the 6800GS but if you could afford it then I wouold definately get the 7800GT cause it is a great card with performance on par with the 7800GTX but a heck of a lot cheaper. ![]()

| Ya ati got wupped with their 800 series, go for the gold and get the 7800gt ![]() or be an fps/benchmark whore like me and spend way too much money for the gtx because you are too stupid to realize that the gt does basically just as well for a **** of a lot less cost. ![]() That and I am wishing I had gotten a better hard drive. My 160 gig one kind of sux but now I am too poor to do anything about it.

| So even though the card that i have listed have higher clock speeds they are still worse than the 7800gt? Is that because of the number of piplines? If it is, what makes pipelines the deciding factor when it comes to quality? |

| Lord Techie | Yes overall clockspeed helps some, but mainly the pipelines, like the 9600XT is like 500/1200 or something but it only has 4 pipelines so it sucks the 6800GT only has 350/1000? and 16 pipelines and it whoops the 9600XT ![]()
