Default GPU OC Help

I've got my 7900GS oc'd to 585/775. Anything higher than about 590/780 will start to artifact. I've seen people who have it higher though. So my question is this: Is there a way I can get the speed up somehow? Increase the voltage somehow or something. And I've seen those mods where you have to use conductive paint or ink and connect some circuits or something on the board, and I don't really want to do that.

Also, how would I go about flashing these new speeds to the GPU's BIOS?

Yeah I know every card is different, and I'm not expecting to get exactly the same speed as anyone else. But seems like a lot of people can get well over 1000 for the memory, and I can't really get all that close to that.

I'm using ATiTool.
